Guerrilla Marketing — Film Campaign
Year
2024
An overturned white car painted with 'TWISTERS, in theaters July 19' parked on a New York City street as a guerrilla marketing stunt, with the Subway and Loft storefronts visible behind it.
Overview

To build anticipation for the release of Twisters, Paramount challenged us to create a campaign that delivered maximum impact with minimal production. With a limited budget and only a small permitted footprint in high-traffic city locations, the idea was simple: make it look like a tornado had just torn through the streets.

We sourced salvaged vehicles, meticulously transformed them into storm wreckage — yes, that meant smashing windows and flipping cars upside down — and installed them in unexpected urban settings. The result was an impossible-to-ignore activation that generated thousands of in-person interactions and millions of organic views across TikTok and Instagram.
